Volkswagen Vietnam has recently teased its upcoming new model, which perfectly blends the agility of an SUV with the luxury and convenience of an MPV. This highly anticipated vehicle is the upgraded Volkswagen Teramont.
Even more intriguing, Volkswagen sales staff have revealed exciting details about the 2024 Teramont President edition. Firstly, this “President” version will be a limited edition, with only 88 units produced exclusively for the Vietnamese market.
The 2024 Teramont President will feature a unique 6-seat configuration, with business-class seats in the second row, offering a level of comfort and luxury typically found in high-end MPVs. Customers will have the option to choose their interior color, and the vehicle will also boast a large infotainment screen.
According to the sales team, interested buyers can already place their orders with a deposit of 100 million VND, and the expected price of the Teramont President is 1.9 billion VND.
The interior of the soon-to-be-launched 2024 Volkswagen Teramont in Vietnam will feature a 12-inch floating screen, a significant upgrade from the current models sold in the country. It will also include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a new electronic gearshift lever, and, exclusively for the “President” edition, two business-class seats with leg rests and diamond-stitched leather upholstery.
The upcoming upgraded Volkswagen Teramont for the Vietnamese market will also be equipped with a range of advanced technology, including the IQ.DRIVE package, IQ. LIGHT LED Matrix, and the MQB evo platform.
In terms of performance, the 2024 Volkswagen Teramont is expected to feature the same engine as the Teramont X, a 2.0L TSI Turbo 4-cylinder engine with an output of 220 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a new-generation DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive, along with Servotronic electric power steering.
