With a price of just VND 235 million, the VinFast VF3 is one of the most affordable electric cars in Vietnam, so it’s no surprise that this model is attracting a lot of attention. The high demand also means that there will be a lot of these cars on the road, and those who want to stand out will be looking for ways to customize their VF3.

Everything from sunroofs to lighting, color wraps, and body kits has been tried by VF3 owners, but not all modifications are created equal in terms of aesthetics and cost. So, when a VF3 owner recently shared their unique modifications, it caught the eye of many.

A VinFast VF3 with a rugged, simple yet distinctive style.

Hữu Hùng, the owner of this VF3, made a few changes to the exterior, giving it a unique and eye-catching look. He started by replacing the headlights with new LED daytime running lights, which not only make the car more visible but also improve its appearance. He also installed a honeycomb-patterned grill with horizontal slats and a sturdy trim piece.

No VF3 modification is complete without the addition of cables to lift the front hood, and this car is no exception. The side view showcases another striking feature: the large, multi-spoke rims with a dark finish, which complement the extended wheel arches and matte black trim perfectly.

One common complaint about the VF3 is the limited storage space in the trunk. To address this, Hùng installed a roof rack with a large cargo box, along with two smaller side boxes. This not only adds visual interest but also provides much-needed additional storage space. The large cargo box on the roof even comes with a handy tarp, which is perfect for camping under the stars.

Inside the car, the owner has added a speedometer and a dashboard-mounted infotainment system that includes a map and music player, among other features. The VF3 comes in nine different colors, including four basic colors: white, red, dark blue, and gray. The five premium colors are yellow, pink-purple, light green, light blue, and pink. The car in these pictures was originally red, but the owner has wrapped it in orange.

The VinFast VF3 has a price tag of VND 235 million for the battery leasing option and VND 315 million if you want to own the battery. The car is powered by an electric motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering 43 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.

The VF3 is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack with a usable capacity of 18.64 kWh, offering a range of 210 km on a single charge according to the NEDC standard. Charging the battery from 10% to 70% takes 5 hours with a slow charger and just 36 minutes with a fast charger.
