Nissan has consistently offered promotions and discounts on their vehicles in Vietnam, and October 2024 is no exception. Dealerships are currently offering attractive incentives for those looking to purchase a Nissan Kicks, with support for 200% of the registration fee, a cash gift of 60 million VND, and physical insurance. With a listed price of 858 million VND, the SUV offers a total discount of over 240 million VND, including registration fee support of up to 171 million VND.
According to statements from the official distributor of Nissan vehicles in Vietnam (VAD), there are currently no plans to sell the 2024 model of the Kicks. The vehicles available at dealerships are from the 2023 production year (with a 2023 VIN number).
However, sales consultants have shared that dealerships are actively offering significant price reductions on the 2023 Nissan Kicks to clear out inventory and make way for the upcoming 2024 VIN vehicles.
The Nissan Almera is also part of the promotional campaign, with dealerships offering support for 100% of the registration fee, a 40 million VND cash gift, and physical insurance. With two available versions and prices ranging from 539 to 595 million VND, the Almera offers a total potential savings of up to 100 million VND, including registration fee support of 54 to 59 million VND.
Lastly, the Nissan Navara is being promoted with 100% registration fee support and physical insurance. Additionally, dealerships are offering a complimentary step board and DVD player with the purchase of this pickup truck. With four available versions and prices ranging from 685 to 960 million VND, the registration fee support alone amounts to a value of 68 to 96 million VND.

Promotions are offered by dealerships for the three Nissan models.
It’s worth noting that these three Nissan models offer some of the highest discounts in their respective segments, which is not surprising considering their pricing compared to competitors.
Nissan vehicles in Vietnam are all imported from Thailand, which means they are not eligible for the government’s 50% registration fee reduction program that benefits domestically produced and assembled vehicles.
Beyond pricing, Nissan vehicles in Vietnam have faced challenges in terms of ineffective marketing and high replacement part and repair costs. However, a redeeming feature is their fuel-efficient engines, with the Nissan Kicks’ e-Power hybrid drive system consuming just 2.2 liters of fuel per 100 km in city driving.
Later this year, Nissan is set to launch an upgraded version of the Almera in Vietnam, featuring design and equipment improvements.
