MG Cars in Vietnam: Massive Savings of Up to 120 Million VND

For October 2024, MG is offering promotions on its vehicles, similar to previous months. The October deals are largely consistent with those offered in the past.

MG is offering a registration fee waiver worth VND 48 million for the MG5 1.5 STD and VND 52 million for the 1.5 LUX. For the New MG5, the company is offering a one-year interest rate subsidy worth VND 25 million for the 1.5 MT version.

Moving on to the small SUV MG ZS, the brand is offering a registration fee waiver worth VND 52-58 million, depending on the version. Similarly, the MG HS line also comes with a registration fee waiver plus one year of physical insurance. The October 2024 promotion for the MG HS is VND 80 million for the 1.5T DEL and VND 85 million for the 1.5T LUX.

The MG RX5 continues to have the highest incentives this month. Specifically, the car is offered with a registration fee and two years of physical insurance worth VND 120 million for both the 1.5T STD and 1.5T LUX versions. This program applies to the 2023 and 2024 MG RX5.

The newcomer, the MG7, has the same incentives as last month. MG is offering a one-year physical insurance worth VND 10 million for the 1.5T LUX, VND 12 million for the 2.0T LUX, and VND 15 million for the 2.0T PRE. However, dealerships are expected to offer higher incentives for this D-segment sedan.

Lastly, the electric car MG4 comes with a promotion that includes a 7 kW charger, free charging for 12 months with MG’s public charging system partners, and a one-to-one battery warranty for seven years. This incentive applies to both the DEL and LUX versions.

MG’s incentive program will run from October 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024. The promotion applies to all customers who purchase vehicles from MG’s 42 dealerships and have received VAT invoices during the promotional period (excluding bulk orders). Additionally, female customers who directly own the vehicle in October 2024 will receive an extra gift worth VND 10 million.

When will MG7, a D-segment sedan, be released in Vietnam?

In July, there were speculations that the MG7 would be launched in the Vietnamese market in Q4/2023. However, it is now the end of November and SAIC Motor – the distributor and importer of MG cars in Vietnam – has not provided any information about this model yet.
