The fact that Dang Le Nguyen Vu favors buying Ferrari supercars is no longer strange, but each car in the garage of the “King of Coffee” of Vietnam is not simply a matter of preference but also has interesting stories behind it. For example, the newly delivered Ferrari 812 GTS to the Chairman of Trung Nguyen has a more fascinating story than the rest.

First, most of the Ferrari convertibles in Vietnam are equipped with a V8 engine, and some even have a V6. However, none of them feature the mighty V12, which makes Mr. Vu’s acquisition of the Ferrari 812 GTS all the more remarkable, showcasing his discerning taste for unique supercars.

Secondly, the 812 GTS is a token of Ferrari’s appreciation for their loyal fans, as they generously produced an unlimited number of these convertibles, each powered by a mighty 6.5-liter V12 engine, naturally aspirated for superior performance.

Being the first to acquire the Ferrari 812 GTS convertible in Vietnam, Mr. Vu once again demonstrates his penchant for acquiring rare supercars. The GTS is the latest addition to his growing collection of 812 models, which began with the Superfast earlier this year. With the 812 GTS, the Chairman of Trung Nguyen now boasts an impressive fleet of Ferrari convertibles.

The Ferrari 812 GTS owned by Dang Le Nguyen Vu boasts a red exterior with numerous black accents, including the five-spoke alloy wheels with a matte black finish and yellow brake calipers.

One of the standout features of the Ferrari 812 GTS is its retractable hardtop, which can be raised or lowered in just 14 seconds at the push of a button. The rear design has been modified to accommodate the roof when lowered, and a small, easily adjustable window has been added. The roof can be operated while the car is in motion, but only at speeds below 45 km/h.

The Ferrari 812 GTS is currently the most powerful V12 convertible that can be purchased without any restrictions. Equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, it delivers an impressive 789 horsepower and 718 Nm of torque.

With its powerful engine, the Ferrari 812 GTS convertible can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds, eventually topping out at a staggering 340 km/h. These performance figures match those of the Ferrari 812 Superfast.

At its launch, the Ferrari 812 GTS was priced at over $450,000, equivalent to VND 10.5 billion. However, due to its limited production and high demand, the resale value of these cars has increased significantly, with prices ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 more than the original price, depending on the car’s condition and options.
