If you own a Lamborghini and want to make it even faster, Underground Racing has long been the go-to place. The North Carolina-based company has been producing twin-turbo kits for the best “bulls” for over a decade, offering twin-turbo kits for the Murcielago and Aventador, the latter boasting up to 1,600 horsepower when running on race fuel. However, this power is about to be eclipsed by Lamborghini’s latest supercar, the Revuelto.

For their latest project, Underground Racing has turned its attention to the Revuelto and created the world’s first example with a pair of turbochargers bolted onto its mighty 6.5-liter V12 engine. This is the answer for those who find the PHEV powertrain of the Lamborghini Revuelto insufficient. With these twin-turbos and a custom exhaust system, Lamborghini’s newest supercar will produce over 2,000 horsepower—an absolutely insane amount of power.

Work on the heavily upgraded car is still in progress, but the company has released some preview images and videos of this crazy creation. It utilizes a pair of turbochargers from Precision and will also benefit from a fully built engine.

Although Underground Racing hasn’t provided a full list of engine upgrades, extensive modifications will be necessary to ensure the V12 engine can safely and consistently handle more than double the horsepower it was designed for.

Complementing the two new turbochargers and the engine upgrades will be a custom exhaust system, while all software will be controlled by the JRR M1 engine management system. Underground Racing states that the car will produce a mind-boggling 2,000 horsepower when completed, which is 999 horsepower more than the standard Revuelto.

No information has been provided about the torque this V12 engine will generate, but it’s safe to assume it will be significantly more than the 725 Nm of the standard model. The two turbochargers, combined with the three electric motors that the Revuelto leaves the factory with, will turn this car into an absolute monster, potentially rivaling some of the near-2,000 horsepower electric supercars on the planet in a straight line.
