The VinFast nationwide electric car test drive roadshow, from October 12 to November 3, 2024, offers customers the opportunity to experience the brand’s range of products.
The new VF 5 Plus trio, along with other electric car models, are currently on display at numerous VinFast dealerships nationwide, attracting a lot of attention from passersby. This is part of a roadshow that VinFast is organizing in collaboration with its official distributor system in various provinces across the country. The event will take place from October 12 to November 3, 2024.
Right from the first days of the event, a large number of customers visited the showroom to see the hottest models on the market and to sign up for test drives. One of the highlights that attracted a lot of interest was the VF 5 Plus with its impressive new color range. This color range once “caused a stir” at its launch and created a wave of enthusiastic deposits from Vietnamese users.
Ms. Pham Thu Ha (Hanoi) is impressed with the new color of the VF 5 Plus
At the VinFast experience center on Yen Lang street, Ms. Pham Thu Ha, a young technology engineer in Hanoi, expressed her special impression of the VF 5 Plus with its new color. “For a woman choosing a car, it has to look beautiful first. VinFast electric cars, in general, and the VF 5 Plus, in particular, have a soft and modern design. I thought the VF 5 Plus was already beautiful before the new paint options, but now with these vibrant colors, I absolutely love it,” said Ms. Ha excitedly.
Ms. Ha is a gasoline car user and started considering electric cars after using the SM Green Taxi service. Therefore, she registered for a test drive to experience the VF 5 Plus. After taking it for a spin, Ms. Ha shared that she found the car to be very suitable for women due to its compact size, agile handling, spacious interior, and user-friendly features. After this test drive, Ms. Ha decided to switch to an electric car.
Mr. Tran Manh Tuan (Hanoi) also decided to switch to an electric car after test-driving the VF 5 Plus
Mr. Tran Manh Tuan, a resident of Hanoi, also considered switching from a gasoline car to an electric one after this test drive. Mr. Tuan shared that he had been using gasoline cars for the past ten years and was surprised by the difference when he test-drove an electric car. After getting behind the wheel and experiencing it for himself, he found the VF 5 Plus to be the most suitable option for his needs.
“I live in the city center, and my parking space is quite small, so the compact size of the VF 5 Plus is perfect. I took it for a spin in the city, and it felt very maneuverable with its excellent visibility and easy handling. The acceleration is impressive, with a responsive throttle and easy control,” said Mr. Tuan.
In addition to the enjoyable driving experience, Mr. Tuan was also convinced by the cost savings of electric cars, especially with the free charging policy at V-GREEN stations until July 1, 2025. According to him, with a monthly mileage of 4,000-5,000 km, he spends about 8-10 million VND on gasoline. By switching to an electric car, he would save this amount. Mr. Tuan was surprised to realize that he could save over 100 million VND annually by making the switch.
The VF 5 Plus offers superior cost savings and is currently very reasonably priced.
The affordable price of the VF 5 Plus was also a convincing factor for Mr. Tuan. The VF 5 Plus has a listed price of only 460 million VND (with a battery lease). However, with the current promotions, buyers can save almost 18 million VND, making the actual cost of ownership around 442 million VND. To get on the road, buyers only need to pay for the registration plate and a few minor additional fees. In contrast, when buying a gasoline car, customers also have to pay a few percent in registration fees, which can amount to tens of millions of VND.
Mr. Dang Van Sam (Ha Giang) praised the spacious interior and user-friendly features of the VF 5 Plus.
Like Mr. Tuan, Mr. Dang Van Sam, a resident of Ha Giang, had also been using gasoline cars for many years before switching to the VF 5 Plus. Mr. Sam purchased the car at a dealership in Hanoi and took delivery of it at the event, after which he drove it with his family from Hanoi to Ha Giang.
According to Mr. Sam, the VF 5 Plus has a spacious interior despite its compact size, and the features are user-friendly. He also emphasized that the cost of using an electric car is up to 70% lower than that of his previous gasoline car.
With the event continuing until the beginning of November, many customers in different provinces will have more opportunities to directly experience these electric car models, which are gradually gaining the trust of domestic customers.
