On the afternoon of October 3, 2024, news about a Liberty Walk-tuned Ferrari 488 GTB being unexpectedly put up for sale by its owner sparked a lot of interest online. As of noon on October 4, the post had garnered over 380 shares, 500 comments, and 1,000 likes.
According to the owner of the Liberty Walk-tuned Ferrari 488 GTB, the car has clocked over 22,000 km, is registered under his name, and is being offered at a price of 9.35 billion VND with a little room for negotiation for serious buyers. The exterior of the car currently sports a two-tone white and black color scheme.
This is one of only three Liberty Walk-tuned Ferraris in Vietnam, with the other two being 458 Italia models with different tuning packages, owned by two well-known car collectors who are known for their reluctance to sell.
Compared to when it was first tuned, the Liberty Walk-tuned Ferrari 488 GTB has had its front bumper and side fins removed, while the widened fenders secured with rivets, the Forgiato wheels, and the small Novitec rear wing remain. The interior is finished in black.
The air suspension system designed by Air Rex specifically for tuned supercars allows the Liberty Walk-tuned Ferrari 488 GTB to raise its ride height up to 18 cm off the ground or lower it almost to the point of scraping the pavement.
Liberty Walk’s tuning package focuses solely on aesthetic enhancements, leaving the car’s twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine untouched. This powerplant produces a maximum output of 661 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 760 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
The engine in the Liberty Walk-tuned Ferrari 488 GTB is mated to a 7-speed gearbox, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. While the engine has not been modified, the addition of an FI exhaust system gives the one-of-a-kind Ferrari 488 GTB Liberty Walk in Vietnam a more impressive sound.
