On October 14 in Hai Phong, En Vang Taxi announced its plan to continue leasing and purchasing VinFast electric vehicles, aiming for a total fleet size of approximately 1,000-1,500 cars by early 2025.

Additionally, En Vang Taxi will become the exclusive partner of Xanh SM in operating electric taxi services in the city of Hai Phong.

As per the latest agreement, En Vang is set to reach the milestone of 500 electric vehicles by the end of 2024. The company’s target is to operate around 1,000-1,500 electric cars in the coming years, more than tripling its current fleet size to meet the growing demand for green transportation in the port city.

The additional vehicles purchased in this phase will retain the distinctive yellow paint associated with En Vang Taxi. Meanwhile, the cars leased from Xanh SM will maintain the partner’s teal color, and all vehicles will bear the En Vang Taxi logo.

According to the cooperation agreement, En Vang Taxi will lease and purchase VinFast electric vehicles from Xanh SM, aiming for a total fleet of 500 electric taxis by 2024

As the exclusive partner of Xanh SM, En Vang Taxi will be entitled to special privileges, including access to lounges within the Vingroup ecosystem in Hai Phong. This encompasses projects such as Vinhomes Royal Island Vu Yen, Vinpearl Golf, Vincom, Vinschool, and Vinmec. Notably, the En Vang Taxi booking feature is already integrated into the Xanh app, available on both App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). This integration enables En Vang drivers to reach a broader base of potential customers, thereby optimizing their revenue potential.

This marks the third collaboration between En Vang and Xanh SM for leasing and purchasing electric vehicles, showcasing the company’s strong commitment to its “green” strategy. It also stands as a testament to the effectiveness of electric vehicles in the transportation business, particularly in passenger transport. Previously, since their first partnership in April 2023, En Vang had leased and purchased 450 VinFast electric cars to launch the first electric taxi service in Hai Phong, laying the foundation for the development of green transportation in the city.
