Aston Martin recently unveiled the limited-edition DB12 Goldfinger Edition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the iconic James Bond film, ‘Goldfinger.’
This Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition is a special tribute to the famous film, where the world was introduced to the suave spy, James Bond, and his sleek Aston Martin.
Only 60 of these exquisite vehicles will be produced globally. The DB12 Goldfinger is painted in Silver Birch, a classic color that pays homage to the original car featured in the film, “Goldfinger.”
The car also boasts a set of 21-inch, 10-spoke diamond-turned silver wheels with black brake calipers, reminiscent of the classic wire wheel design on the DB5.
The interior of the Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition exudes sophistication with Sports Plus seats featuring the classic Prince of Wales check pattern. This pattern is also tastefully applied to the headliner, doors, and door sills, creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior.
Additionally, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition showcases elegant 18k gold-plated details and a unique gear shift inspired by the tracking device featured in the film.
The sun visors feature an eight-of-spades playing card, a subtle nod to a memorable scene from the iconic movie.
Purchasers of this limited-edition vehicle will also receive a collection of commemorative gifts, including a Silver Birch Speedform model, a 35mm film reel featuring iconic DB5 scenes from the Furka Pass in Switzerland, a 2007 bottle of Champagne Bollinger, and four Bollinger 007 crystal glasses presented in a Globe-Trotter case.
Under the hood, the Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition is powered by a mighty V8 Twin-Turbo 4.0L engine, delivering an impressive 680 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 325 km/h.
Drivers can choose from three driving modes: GT, Sport, and Sport+, as well as four electronic stability control modes: Wet, On, Track, and Off, ensuring a customizable driving experience to suit any journey.
