Hyundai has unveiled a new addition to its Inster range with the introduction of the Cross variant. This model targets customers who enjoy adventure and outdoor activities.

The Hyundai Inster is known to be the electric version of the Casper compact SUV. This new Cross version is developed based on the Casper but sports a tougher and more robust look.

Catering to the needs of those who love to explore and camp, the Inster Cross is equipped with sportier front and rear bumpers, a large underbody guard, and roof rails for additional cargo support when the trunk space is insufficient.

The Inster Cross also introduces an exclusive matte green color, Amazonas, alongside the standard color options available for the Inster.

Regarding the interior, the cabin remains largely unchanged, with subtle adjustments such as lemon yellow accents on the seats and dashboard.

The Cross trim offers additional options, including a front bench seat, a second row of seats with sliding and reclining functions, and an increased trunk capacity ranging from 280 to 351 liters, depending on the seat configuration.

The Hyundai Inster Cross is powered by two engine options. The Standard version features an electric motor that delivers 95 horsepower, paired with a 42kWh battery pack.

On the other hand, the Long Range variant boasts a more powerful electric motor, generating 113 horsepower. It is coupled with a 49 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 359 kilometers on a single charge, according to the WLTP standard, and supports fast DC charging at 120 kWh.

Hyundai plans to commence production of the Inster Cross in South Korea by the end of this year. The pricing will be announced closer to its market launch.
