On October 18, 2024, Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) officially held the final round of the 2024 Excellent Customer Service Staff Competition at its headquarters in Vinh Phuc. HVN organizes this annual competition with the aim of enhancing the skills of technicians, customer care staff, and parts staff, ultimately improving customer satisfaction nationwide.
To improve customer satisfaction, it is not enough to solely focus on enhancing products, prices, or service quality. HVN pays greater attention to the overall feelings and experiences of customers before, during, and after purchasing vehicles at Honda-authorized dealerships (HEAD). The Excellent Customer Service Staff Competition is one of HVN’s activities aimed at continuously improving the knowledge and skills of the service staff at HEAD so that they can effectively apply their expertise in their daily work, meeting the needs and providing positive and superior experiences for customers who trust in the products and services of the Honda brand.
This year’s competition featured five categories: Excellent Chief Technician, Excellent Technician, Excellent Mid-fun Large Distribution Vehicle Technician, Excellent Parts Staff, and Excellent Customer Care Staff. Among these, the Excellent Mid-fun Technician category was introduced for the first time to find the best contestant nationwide. Along with the top two contestants in the Excellent Chief Technician and Excellent Technician categories, the winner of the Excellent Mid-fun Technician category will represent HVN in the 2024 Asia-Oceania Excellent Technician Competition, held in the Philippines in December.
The competition began in June 2024, with 50 outstanding representatives advancing to the final round after passing through a theoretical preliminary round and a practical second round. These finalists were selected from a pool of 9,123 contestants nationwide. On October 18, 2024, the 50 contestants gathered in Vinh Phuc to showcase their talents, affirm their capabilities, and share their practical skills and experiences.
The competition featured diverse formats, including Theory, Situational Problem-Solving, and Oratory, allowing contestants to comprehensively demonstrate their strengths.
