MG Vietnam recently announced the official price of the MG Cyberster electric supercar at the Vietnam Auto Expo 2024, marking a significant step forward in the luxury electric vehicle segment in the domestic market.
MG Cyberster is offered in the Vietnamese market with only one variant, priced at 3.2 billion VND, and limited to just 100 units.
Having made its debut in Vietnam almost a year ago and highly anticipated by customers, the MG Cyberster is a pure electric 2-seat roadster with a 4-wheel drive system, delivering a combined output of 536hp and accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
Mr. Tran Nam Thang, Deputy General Director of SAIC Motor Vietnam, shared: “With the MG Cyberster, we are bringing not just a high-performance electric sports car but also taking MG deeper into the electric vehicle era. Cyberster represents the pioneering spirit and innovation that the MG brand stands for.”
The exterior design of the Cyberster is sleek and sporty, featuring a long hood and a stretched rear end that gives it a muscular stance. The car measures 4,535 x 1,913 x 1,329 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. The front end is highlighted by the iconic MG headlights, complemented by a slim grille design and the intelligent “Magic eyes” lighting system. At the rear, a “mega laser” LED light bar runs across the width of the car, extending along the sides and door sills. The show-stopping feature of the Cyberster’s exterior design is undoubtedly the scissor doors, which are sure to grab anyone’s attention.
Inside, the MG Cyberster showcases a bold and characterful interior with sporty bucket seats wrapped in leather. It features a flat-bottom sports steering wheel, a digital cockpit with three screens, including two 7-inch displays and a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a modern infotainment system. The car is equipped with automatic climate control with PM2.5 air filtration, a push-button gear selector, and an 8-speaker premium sound system.
Additionally, the Cyberster comes with the award-winning Banma – Cyber OS smart cockpit system, recognized with the iF Design Award for “User Experience.” The advanced ADAS safety system on the Cyberster is a valuable asset for any journey. The car is powered by a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a range of 443 km on a single charge.
