Mitsubishi Unveils the DST Concept at the Ongoing 2024 Philippines International Motor Show (PIMS)

The Mitsubishi DST Concept is positioned in the mid-size 7-seater SUV segment. This model is expected to be a new flagship alongside the Xpander/Xpander Cross, Pajero Sport, and Outlander lineup.

The Mitsubishi DST Concept is exclusively developed for the ASEAN region and is planned to be launched in 2025.

This concept car boasts a modern and sporty exterior, bearing resemblance to the Xforce model. The front grille features the Dynamic Shield 3D interface with a honeycomb mesh pattern placed under a transparent cover, creating a striking impression.

The DST Concept showcases unique design elements, such as dark-toned side pillars, an intriguing rear pillar, a high ground clearance, and muscular mudguards with large tires.

In terms of interior, the DST Concept offers a spacious and feature-rich cabin. It is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a fully integrated digital instrument cluster that seamlessly merges with the infotainment screen, and a distinctive center console with a rotary controller and unconventional gear lever.

The DST Concept will feature five driving modes: Wet mode for waterlogged roads, Tarmac mode for winding asphalt roads, Normal mode, Gravel mode, and Mud mode for off-road conditions.

Additionally, Mitsubishi confirms that the DST Concept is a front-wheel-drive vehicle but is capable of performing well in all weather and road conditions.

The Mitsubishi DST Concept is expected to be introduced in Vietnam soon, with its commercial version likely to be available for sale in Southeast Asia from next year onwards before distribution in the Vietnamese market.

The vehicle is currently on display at PIMS, an event taking place from October 24-27 in Manila.
