Yamaha Vietnam has taken to social media to announce the upcoming launch of two new models on December 30. While the Japanese brand has not revealed much information about the new vehicles, they have hinted that one model will embrace a classic style, while the other will be a futuristic offering.
Based on the accompanying images, it is evident that the soon-to-be-introduced models are the XSR155 and Neo’s. The XSR155 is already familiar to many, as it has been available through private dealers, but the Neo’s is an entirely new product.
Yamaha Vietnam previously showcased the Neo’s at an event in Phu Quoc in March, and the model is currently being assembled at the Yamaha Noi Bai factory in Hanoi.

The Yamaha Neo’s is equipped with a 2,500-watt electric motor, delivering a maximum torque of 136 Nm. Powering the motor is a 19.2 Ah lithium-ion battery, which takes approximately eight hours to charge fully. With a full charge, the Neo’s can travel up to 70 kilometers.
There is no word yet on the pricing of the Yamaha Neo’s. However, it is likely to be priced below VND 40 million, positioning it as a competitor to the VinFast Klara S (VND 36.9 million). At this price point, there are limited options for electric vehicles, making it an attractive proposition for the Neo’s.
