Mitsubishi Unveils the DST Concept at the Ongoing Philippines International Motor Show (PIMS) 2024

The Mitsubishi DST Concept is positioned in the mid-size 7-seater SUV segment. This vehicle is expected to be a new flagship model alongside the Xpander/Xpander Cross, Pajero Sport, and Outlander.

The Mitsubishi DST Concept is exclusively developed for the ASEAN market and is planned to be launched in 2025.

This concept car features a modern and sporty exterior design, bearing resemblance to the Xforce model. The front of the vehicle impresses with its Dynamic Shield 3D interface, showcasing a honeycomb mesh pattern beneath a transparent cover.

The DST Concept boasts unique design elements such as dark-toned side pillars, distinctive rear pillars, high ground clearance, and muscular mudguards with large tires.

In terms of interior, the DST Concept offers a spacious and feature-rich cabin. It is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a fully integrated digital instrument cluster that seamlessly blends with the infotainment screen, and a unique central control cluster with a rotary dial and gear lever.

The DST Concept will feature five driving modes: Wet mode for waterlogged roads, Tarmac mode for winding asphalt roads, as well as Normal, Gravel, and Mud modes.

Additionally, Mitsubishi confirms that the DST Concept is a front-wheel-drive vehicle but is capable of performing well in all weather and road conditions.

The Mitsubishi DST Concept is expected to be introduced in Vietnam soon, with the commercial version likely to be available for sale in Southeast Asia from next year onwards before distribution in the Vietnamese market.

The vehicle is currently on display at PIMS, an event taking place from October 24-27 in Manila.
