Hyundai Unveils the Sonata 2025 with Enhanced Convenience Features
The Hyundai Sonata 2025 has been unveiled with nine trim levels, priced between 28.31 million won and 39.31 million won (approximately 517-718 million VND). The overall design remains unchanged from its predecessor.
One notable change in the Sonata 2025 is the relocation of the fingerprint recognition system from the left of the instrument cluster to the top of the center console, making it more accessible and user-friendly for both the driver and passengers.
Additionally, the manual air conditioning system has been enhanced with the After Blow feature, which reduces humidity and prevents mold and unpleasant odors.
The Sonata 2025 also boasts improved seat heating and cooling functions. These features now automatically adjust from high to low settings, enhancing the overall user experience.
Powering the Hyundai Sonata 2025 are the same two engine options as its predecessor: a gasoline engine and a hybrid powertrain.
Previously, the Hyundai Sonata was available in Vietnam, but due to low sales figures, it could not compete with rivals such as the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Mazda6. As a result, it was discontinued in 2015.

Hyundai and General Motors previously entered into an agreement to collaborate on electric vehicle development. Now, it appears that the South Korean automotive giant is also seeking to expand its partnerships with Japan’s largest automaker, Toyota. With these strategic alliances, Hyundai is poised to accelerate its advancement in the electric vehicle market and strengthen its global presence.
