[VMS 2024] Vietnam Motor Show 2024: Rain Can’t Stop the Fun!

Vietnam Motor Show 2024 attracted not only industry experts and car enthusiasts but also families and groups of young people. The rain did not deter the enthusiastic visitors who were eager to explore the latest green technology trends, new car models, and the impressive design and performance enhancements on display.

Many visitors shared that they did not want to miss the opportunity to experience modern vehicles and advanced technology that could only be witnessed firsthand at this event. The exhibition areas and test drive experiences were constantly bustling, as they offered not just knowledge but also a practical, interactive experience with the vehicles.

“I had the chance to test drive the latest hybrid and electric vehicles, and the difference in their performance was remarkable, especially in terms of environmental friendliness. It’s rare to get an opportunity to test drive so many advanced models here in Vietnam. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of the green technology that automotive brands are embracing,” shared Hoang Thien, an electric vehicle enthusiast.

After a one-year hiatus, VMS returned in 2024 without the presence of major European and American automotive brands, yet it still captured the attention of visitors with its new product launches. Out of approximately 200 automotive and motorcycle products on display, 30 were new models introduced to the Vietnamese market.

A quick walk around the exhibition revealed that the main theme of this year’s event was the green transition, with a strong presence of hybrid and electric vehicles. Notably, this was also the year that VMS showcased the most motorcycle products, with two main categories: small-sized electric motorcycles and sports motorcycles. Each brand invested significantly in their booths to create a premium and captivating experience, encouraging visitors to spend more time exploring their offerings.

One of the main attractions that drew large crowds at VMS 2024 was the dynamic performance presented by 19 automotive and motorcycle brands. Visitors were not only treated to the superior performance of the vehicles through technical demonstrations but also got to experience the agility and power of these outstanding models firsthand. These performances left a lasting impression and provided a deeper understanding of the advanced technology incorporated into the displayed vehicles.

The event will continue to welcome visitors until October 27 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City – the last chance this year to experience the cutting-edge technology and exceptional products from these brands.
