Hyundai Motor and TC Group Mark a Milestone with Hyundai Palisade Export to Thailand
In a significant development, Hyundai Motor and TC Group’s collaboration bore fruit as Hyundai Thành Công Việt Nam (HTMV) officially exported a batch of Hyundai Palisade SUVs to Thailand.
On October 29, 2024, HTMV, a joint venture between TC Group and Hyundai Motor, organized a ceremony to commemorate the export of Hyundai Palisade vehicles to the Thai market. The event took place at the Hyundai Thành Công No. 1 Factory in the Gián Khẩu Industrial Park, Ninh Bình Province.
This was the fourth batch of exports in October, bringing the total number of Hyundai Palisade SUVs exported to Thailand to 110 units. HTMV plans to export over 4,000 Hyundai vehicles to regional markets in 2024-2025, including Thailand.
The Hyundai Palisade, Hyundai’s most premium SUV, has been manufactured and distributed in Vietnam since September 2023. With its elegant design, advanced technology, agile performance, and class, the Palisade has quickly established itself as a leading choice in the large SUV segment in Vietnam.
With an RVC ratio of over 40%, the Hyundai Palisade not only meets stringent technical requirements but also qualifies for tariff benefits under the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA). This gives it a competitive edge in the international market.
This export milestone marks over 15 years of strategic partnership between TC Group and Hyundai Motor in the production and distribution of Hyundai-branded vehicles in Vietnam. Over the years, TC Group has successfully established Hyundai as a dominant force in the Vietnamese automotive market, making it one of the most beloved brands among consumers.

In addition to the Hyundai Palisade, HTMV aims to expand its export portfolio to include other models in the B, B-SUV, D-SUV, and D-MPV segments to markets such as Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, and other Southeast Asian countries.
This development is a testament to the global quality of Hyundai-branded automobiles manufactured and assembled in Vietnam, elevating the country’s automotive industry on the regional map.
