**Toyota Motor Vietnam Announces October 2024 Sales Results**
Toyota Motor Vietnam announced its October 2024 sales performance, reporting a total of 8,898 units sold, marking a 25% increase compared to the previous month (including Lexus vehicles).
This is the highest monthly sales figure recorded by the company so far this year, solidifying Toyota’s leading position as it marches towards the milestone of 1 million units sold by 2025 – coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Toyota’s presence in Vietnam.
Breaking down the numbers, Toyota’s domestic sales reached 8,736 units, comprising 3,469 domestically assembled vehicles and 5,267 completely built-up imported units. Notably, sales of Hybrid vehicles surged to 883 units, representing a 57% increase compared to the previous month. This brings the cumulative sales of Hybrid vehicles in the first ten months of 2024 to an impressive 3,881 units. This remarkable performance underscores the growing popularity of fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles among Vietnamese consumers.
During the same month, Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of Toyota, delivered an exceptional experience to 162 customers, bringing the total cumulative sales since its introduction in Vietnam to 13,409 units.
October witnessed a growth in sales across all Toyota models, partly attributed to the government’s support policy for registration fees on domestically assembled vehicles. Additionally, Toyota proactively launched promotional programs for popular models such as the Vios, Yaris Cross, Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, and Corolla Cross. These initiatives provided customers with attractive opportunities to own a Toyota vehicle during the final months of 2024.
Toyota’s top-selling models for the month included the strategic Vios, which maintained its leading position with 1,757 units sold, followed by the Yaris Cross with 1,510 units, indicating the rapid rise in popularity of this new model among Vietnamese consumers.
The Corolla Cross, with its youthful and versatile design, along with a host of advanced features and functionalities, also witnessed a sales boost, recording 1,402 units sold. Meanwhile, the Veloz Cross continued its strong performance with 1,061 units sold, reflecting the market’s enthusiasm for Toyota’s versatile and multi-purpose vehicles. Overall, the impressive sales figures of these models underscore Toyota’s success in catering to the diverse needs of its customers in the urban and multi-purpose vehicle segments.
