The official Kia Vietnam fan page has just teased an upcoming new version of the Kia Carnival, soon to be introduced to the domestic market.

While Kia Vietnam only shared a side profile image, the new lighting design and wheel styling of the Kia Carnival are easily noticeable.

Based on the headlight cluster, it is likely that the new Kia Carnival in Vietnam will be the facelift version previously introduced by the South Korean automaker earlier this year.

Being a facelift, the most significant changes to the Kia Carnival are expected to be found at the front of the vehicle.

The new Kia Carnival will feature a larger tiger-nose grille with chrome accents. The main headlight cluster consists of three stacked LED lights, arranged vertically and adjacent to the redesigned daytime running lights in a Star Map pattern.

The wheel design on the teased model by Kia Vietnam differs from what is offered on the 2025 Kia Carnival in the US. In the American market, the standard wheel size for the 2025 Kia Carnival is 17 inches, while higher trims are equipped with 19-inch wheels.

Under the hood, the 2025 Kia Carnival in the US is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, producing 287 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque. A hybrid variant is also available, generating 242 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque.

It is not yet clear if the same engine options will be offered for the new Kia Carnival in Vietnam, nor is it confirmed if the hybrid variant will be introduced in the local market.

Currently, the Kia Carnival in Vietnam is priced between VND 1,189 billion and VND 1,759 billion. In the large MPV segment, the Kia Carnival competes against the GAC M8 (VND 1,699 billion – VND 2,199 billion) and the Volkswagen Viloran (VND 1,989 billion – VND 2,188 billion).

As of August, the Kia Carnival has sold 3,253 units in Vietnam. Volkswagen does not disclose sales figures for the Viloran, while the GAC M8 was just recently launched last month.
