In recent developments, Honda has unveiled plans to introduce five new electric vehicles to its lineup by 2030.
Notably, the Japanese automaker will be launching an all-new electric SUV, built upon the foundation of the Elevate concept.
The Honda Elevate EV is expected to make its debut in late 2025 or early 2026. Production will take place at Honda’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, India.
By utilizing the Elevate platform for its new electric vehicles, Honda can optimize production costs, resulting in more competitively priced offerings.
In 2025, Honda India’s export turnover is projected to double compared to 2024, with exports accounting for 30-40% of total production volume.
While Honda has not released images of the Elevate EV, it is likely to bear a resemblance to its gasoline-powered counterpart.
Speculations suggest that the Elevate EV will be equipped with a battery pack in the range of 40-50kWh and an electric motor mounted on the front axle. The vehicle is expected to offer a range of over 400km on a single charge.
