For November 2024, Suzuki is offering attractive discounts on their compact MPV, the Suzuki XL7. The vehicle will come with a 50% road tax subsidy, equivalent to VND 30 million, to compete with domestically produced and assembled rivals.

Additionally, the Suzuki XL7 comes with a VND 5 million accessory package. Thus, the total promotional value for this small MPV in November 2024 is VND 35 million, applicable until November 30, 2024.

Suzuki stated that the accessory gifts will be distributed based on the order of purchase as per the vehicle invoice. The accessory promotion may end earlier if the gifts run out. Customers need to pay extra if the value of usage is greater than the value of the accessory package. Any remaining balance will not be refunded if the value of usage is less than the value of the accessory package. Moreover, all gifts can be converted into cash.

The XL7 is currently Suzuki’s flagship product in Vietnam after the Ertiga was discontinued. Not only the Ertiga, but the Suzuki Ciaz and Swift duo have also disappeared from the Japanese brand’s product lineup.

The new Suzuki XL7 was launched in the Vietnamese market in August 2024. Similar to the previous version, the car is also imported from Indonesia. Therefore, the Suzuki XL7 does not benefit from the 50% road tax incentive provided by the government for domestically produced and assembled vehicles. This is the reason why Suzuki has to offer road tax support to customers buying this model.

The Suzuki XL7 in Vietnam is available in two versions, priced from VND 599.9 million to VND 607.9 million. The new version is equipped with the SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) system, combining a 1.5L gasoline engine, an integrated ISG starter generator, and a lithium-ion battery. This system reduces fuel consumption by 14% per 100 km compared to the version using an internal combustion engine. Suzuki offers an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the lithium-ion battery, whichever comes first.

Moreover, the Suzuki XL7 now features new equipment such as automatic headlights, turn signals, automatic folding mirrors, a 10-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control, and more.

After the launch of the new version, the Suzuki XL7 quickly regained sales growth. In September 2024, Suzuki sold 282 units of the XL7 in the domestic market, an increase of 2069%. This model also had the highest growth rate in the MPV segment in the Vietnamese market in September.
