A renowned used car dealership in Hanoi recently advertised the sale of a top-of-the-line Hyundai Santa Fe 2.5 turbo for VND 1.469 billion, a premium of VND 104 million over the listed price. Notably, this vehicle had already been driven and had an odometer reading of approximately 1,000 km.
Following the widespread sharing of the car advertisement on social media, many people commented that the asking price seemed too high and that the buyer would also have to pay an additional 2% registration fee.
Nonetheless, aside from the questionable pricing, this Santa Fe is almost as good as new. The new generation Hyundai Santa Fe was just launched in Vietnam on September 18th.
Built on the N-Platform chassis, the SUV’s overall dimensions are 4,830 x 1,900 x 1,780 mm (length x width x height), with a 2,815mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 177mm. These specifications offer improved interior space and comfort compared to the previous generation.
The Santa Fe boasts a boxy, classic SUV exterior design with raised LED headlights and a hood, resulting in a robust and sporty appearance. The highlight of the front end is the Adaptive LED (AHB-LED) headlights and distinctive daytime running lights forming the letter ‘H’. Additionally, the flat 2D grille takes inspiration from the Hyundai logo, adding a bold touch to the overall design. The vehicle’s grille is equipped with AAF (Active Air Flap), which intelligently opens and closes depending on the driving mode, optimizing aerodynamics while maintaining engine and brake cooling.
The sides of the SUV feature a minimalist, flat design, befitting a vehicle of its size and optimizing interior space. The rear continues the LED theme with ‘H’-shaped taillights that match the front cluster, enhancing visibility and brand recognition.
Step inside the Santa Fe 2024, and you’re greeted by a striking dual-screen setup on the dashboard, featuring a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster seamlessly integrated with an equally sized infotainment display.
Additionally, the SUV boasts other notable features, including a head-up display, dual-pane sunroof, wireless charging pad, smart key, and a premium 12-speaker Bose sound system.
Under the hood, the top-tier Hyundai Santa Fe is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 281 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (8DCT) and an all-wheel-drive system.
Alternatively, buyers can opt for the Smartstream 2.5L gasoline engine, which generates 194 horsepower and 246 Nm of torque. This variant comes with front-wheel drive.
