Recently, car enthusiasts in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, were once again treated to the sight of the one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Omologato in Vietnam.
This Lamborghini Huracan STO has probably been driven only a handful of times in a year, mostly spotted in Vung Tau. The owner hasn’t taken it to Ho Chi Minh City for a change of scenery, leaving car enthusiasts in Saigon and other provinces longing to see this beauty in person.
This Lamborghini Huracan is the only Super Trofeo Omologato version imported into Vietnam. The owner also possesses an impressive collection of supercars, including a McLaren 720S Spider, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and several other luxury and ultra-luxury cars, as well as SUVs.
This Lamborghini Huracan STO boasts a Blu Laufey paint job with striking orange and black stripes running across the front end and front bumper. Compared to the standard version, the Huracan STO has a more angular design, resembling a race car on city streets.
Additionally, the Huracan STO features an entirely new steering wheel with three driving modes: STO for regular road driving, Trofeo for delivering maximum performance on race tracks, and Pioggia for optimizing traction control, torque, and ABS in wet conditions.
The Lamborghini Huracan STO is made of 75% carbon fiber, resulting in a lightweight construction of just 1,339 kg, which is 43 kg lighter than the Huracan Performante. The acronym STO stands for Super Trofeo Omologata, indicating a street-legal race car that combines beauty, speed, and agility.
The Lamborghini Huracan STO is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 640 horsepower and 565 Nm of torque, similar to the Evo version. However, the driving experience and suspension system are race-car-inspired.
The Lamborghini Huracan STO accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and has a top speed of 310 km/h. In Vietnam, the first Lamborghini Huracan STO was imported with a price tag of over 30 billion VND.
