On the evening of November 7, 2024, Lamborghini Vietnam officially introduced the next-generation super SUV Urus to the Vietnamese market, following the standard, mid-life upgraded Urus S, and high-performance Urus Performante. This is the Urus SE, an entirely new warrior in the Lamborghini supercar lineup.

It is known that back in April of this year, at the Beijing Auto Show 2024, the Italian supercar maker, Lamborghini, officially unveiled the Urus SE, which is more fuel-efficient than the previous three versions, including the standard, high-performance Urus Performante, and mid-life upgraded Urus S. And now, just six months later, the Lamborghini Urus SE has been imported to Vietnam, although it is unclear whether it is for sale or temporary import and re-export.

In Vietnam, customers who pre-order the Lamborghini Urus SE will enjoy a very competitive price of only 14.79 billion VND, excluding additional options and vehicle registration costs. With such an attractive price, the Lamborghini Urus SE is sure to be favored by Vietnamese tycoons.

Specifically, the “heart” of the new Lamborghini Urus SE super SUV launched in Vietnam remains the familiar 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo gasoline engine, found in the standard Urus, Urus Performante, and mid-life upgraded Urus S, owned by Vietnamese tycoons. However, the new model combines this engine with an electric motor located within the 8-speed automatic gearbox. The gasoline engine produces a maximum output of 612 horsepower, while the electric motor contributes an additional 189 horsepower.

In total, the Lamborghini Urus SE boasts a maximum power output of 789 horsepower, making it the most powerful version of the Lamborghini Urus to date. This enables the SE to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, quicker than the Lamborghini Urus S but slightly slower than the Performante variant.

Additionally, the Lamborghini Urus SE is equipped with a 25.9 kWh battery pack, allowing it to travel up to 60 km without relying on the gasoline engine. This feature is expected to further enhance the appeal of the Lamborghini supercar, especially in markets that offer tax incentives for zero-emission vehicles.
