The all-new Skoda Kodiaq was officially unveiled at the end of 2023. A year later, Skoda has taken the wraps off the most athletic variant of this mid-size SUV, dubbed the RS or vRS in the UK market.

Unveiling the most athletic and potent variant of the Skoda Kodiaq 2025.

As the most potent iteration, the Skoda Kodiaq RS 2025 is outfitted with a turbocharged 2.0L TSI Evo 4-cylinder engine, generating a maximum output of 262 horsepower and a peak torque of 400 Nm. Compared to its predecessor, this model boasts an additional 20 horsepower. The power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.

With this powertrain, the Skoda Kodiaq RS 2025 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds for the 5-seater version and 6.4 seconds for the heavier 7-seater variant. Meanwhile, the top speed of this D-segment SUV is clocked at 231 km/h.

Moreover, the Kodiaq RS 2025 features an upgraded steering system and offers seven driving modes, including Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, Snow, and Off-Road. It is also equipped with the DCC Plus suspension system, which includes adaptive dampers with 15 setting options, and the Dynamic Sound Boost system to enhance engine acoustics.

The Skoda Kodiaq RS 2025 boasts seven driving modes.

Not only is the Kodiaq RS quicker and more potent than the standard model, but it also sports a more dynamic and striking appearance. Specifically, it features a more athletic front bumper with a broader central air intake. The grille and rear hatch both bear the “vRS” logo as a distinctive marker.

Another highlight of the new Kodiaq RS is the Elias 20-inch alloy wheels, dual stainless steel exhaust pipes, and a reflective strip stretching across the rear bumper. Additionally, the rear bumper incorporates faux air vents to set it apart from the standard model.

As expected, the Kodiaq RS showcases a host of exterior details in black, such as the front and rear bumpers, grille, mirror caps, window trim, D-pillar, and the embossed “Skoda” lettering on the rear hatch. In contrast, the side skirts are painted in the body color.

The interior offers a choice of 5- or 7-seat configurations and exudes a distinctly athletic character. It features sports seats with electric adjustments, integrated headrests embroidered with the “vRS” logo, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and stainless steel pedals. Contrasting red stitching is applied to various areas.

Both the seats, dashboard, and door cards are upholstered in standard Suedia synthetic leather. Customers have the option to upgrade to a combination of genuine and synthetic leather for these areas.

Skoda Kodiaq RS 2025 will be available with either a 5- or 7-seat interior.

Additionally, the Skoda Kodiaq RS 2025 comes standard with a pair of 10-inch digital instrument cluster and central touchscreen infotainment system. A 13-inch infotainment screen is offered as an option. Other standard equipment includes LED Matrix headlights, acoustic glass, and a Canton sound system.

The pricing for the Skoda Kodiaq RS 2025 has not yet been disclosed. In Vietnam, the latest generation of the Skoda Kodiaq was introduced at the VMS 2024 exhibition, showcasing enhanced design and modern conveniences while retaining the same powertrain. Additionally, a Sportline variant with a 5-seat interior is available. Pricing for the Skoda Kodiaq 2025 in Vietnam is yet to be announced.
