The renowned brand, Brabus, has unveiled its latest creation – the Big Boy 1200. This luxurious and unique camper van is designed to offer a lavish apartment-like experience on wheels.
Based on a Mercedes Actros truck, the Big Boy 1200 boasts impressive dimensions: 12 meters in length, 2.5 meters in width, and 4 meters in height, with a cabin space of over 30 square meters. Additionally, it features four electrically-operated slide-out modules that expand the living area when parked, supported by hydraulic stabilizers for added stability.
In terms of exterior design, the Brabus Big Boy 1200 resembles a large, black rectangular block crafted from aluminum-composite material. Accentuated with LED lights and a carbon grille, these two elements stand out in an otherwise minimalistic exterior.
This camper van is equipped with eight solar panels on the roof, a large battery, and a generator, ensuring a consistent power supply for extended periods. It also features ample water storage tanks for fresh and wastewater.
The insulated aluminum body construction provides excellent weather resistance, allowing the climate control and auxiliary heating systems to maintain a comfortable environment inside the vehicle. The windows are fitted with integrated roller blinds and a skylight operated by electricity.
Accessing the Brabus Big Boy 1200‘s interior requires climbing an electrically-deployed staircase, adding to its uniqueness.
The living quarters include a bedroom with a double bed, two sofas, and an additional single bed above the cab. Designed to resemble a 5-star hotel suite, it comes complete with two 43-inch 4K TVs, a PS5 gaming console, and a premium sound system.Â
The bathroom is equally well-appointed, featuring a shower, toilet, and sink to cater to all daily needs.Â
The kitchen is a chef’s dream, equipped with a cooking area, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, and wine cooler.
A versatile space, the living room can be used as a dining area or a remote office.
With a Starlink satellite dish and a Wi-Fi router, the Brabus Big Boy 1200 ensures seamless online connectivity no matter the location.
Built on a tri-axle chassis with dual rear tandem axles, the Brabus Big Boy 1200 is powered by a massive 12.8-liter turbodiesel engine that produces 523 horsepower and 2,600 Nm of torque. Its top speed is electronically limited to 90 km/h.
This bespoke Brabus Big Boy 1200 is built to order, with a starting price of €1,260,504.20 (approximately 34.73 billion VND).
