Nearly a year after the launch of the new Skoda Kodiaq, the Czech automaker has now unveiled the sportiest version of its mid-sized SUV, the RS.

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq RS sports a more athletic and robust design compared to the standard model. This is evident in the front grille with RS styling, larger air intakes, and a bolder front bumper.

It rides on 20-inch Elias alloy wheels and features a dual-exhaust system in stainless steel, along with a reflective strip running across the rear bumper. The rear end also includes faux air vents to set it apart from the standard model.

The Kodiaq RS has numerous exterior details finished in black, including the front and rear bumpers, grille, mirror caps, window trim, D-pillars, and the “Skoda” lettering on the tailgate.

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq RS offers two interior configurations: a 5-seat and a 7-seat layout. Both feature a sporty and modern design with amenities such as a digital cockpit, a choice of dual 10-inch screens or a large 13-inch infotainment display, LED Matrix headlights with crisp graphics, acoustic glass, and a premium Canton sound system.

The RS logo adorns the steering wheel, and the interior is further enhanced with sports seats that are electrically adjustable and feature integrated headrests, stainless steel pedals, and contrasting red stitching on dark upholstery.

The seats, dashboard, and door cards are trimmed in standard Suedia synthetic leather, with the option to upgrade to a combination of genuine and synthetic leather.

Under the hood of the Skoda Kodiaq RS lies a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, producing 262 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

This setup enables the Kodiaq RS to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds for the 5-seat version and around 6.4 seconds for the 7-seat variant.

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq RS also benefits from an upgraded steering system and seven drive modes: Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, Snow, and Off-Road. It is equipped with DCC Plus adaptive chassis control with 15 settings and Dynamic Sound Boost to enhance the engine’s sound.

Skoda has not yet announced the pricing for the Kodiaq RS in the UK market. In Vietnam, the new Skoda Kodiaq has also been introduced at the Vietnam Motor Show (VMS 2024), but pricing details remain undisclosed.
