The organizers of the Vietnam Motor Show 2024 (VMS 2024) have announced that this year’s event will take place from October 23 to 27 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Nearly 20 automotive and motorcycle brands have confirmed their participation in VMS 2024, with several newcomers to the show.

First-time automotive participants include BYD, GAZ, Skoda, and GAC, while new motorcycle brands such as UM Motorcyles and Husqvarna Motorcycles will also be present.

In addition, familiar brands to Vietnamese customers, including Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Isuzu, MG, SYM, and Yamaha Motor, will be showcasing their offerings. Motorcycle enthusiasts will also be treated to the presence of renowned big bike brands like Harley-Davidson, Triump Motorcycles, and KTM.

Notably, brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, Hyundai, Nissan, and VinFast will be absent from this year’s show. Ford, too, will be missing for the second consecutive year, despite having been a regular fixture at VMS in the past.

The event will see the introduction of new models by various brands, along with showcases of new technologies and insights into electric and hybrid vehicles, aligning with the theme of “Open Technology for a Green Future.”

Nearly 300 booths from the supporting industries will be present, featuring over 50 diverse brands.

As part of VMS 2024, a workshop will be held, discussing two topics: “Electrification and Technology in the Automotive Industry” and “Proper Use of Euro 5 Fuel.” These discussions will provide diverse perspectives on the trends and potential of electrification, emphasizing green and clean energy solutions, and reduced emissions.

VMS 2024 aims to enhance the personalized experience for visitors through technology. Test drives will also be available during the exhibition.

In addition to the physical event, VMS 2024 will also feature a podcast series, “Rolling with VMS,” and a newsletter, VMS News.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 9 am to 9 pm from October 24 to 27. Tickets are expected to be priced at 30,000 VND per visitor.
