Vietnamese businessman Pham Tran Nhat Minh, also known as Minh “Nhua,” recently shared a post on his passion for the “f1” generation. The owner of the one-of-a-kind Pagani Huayra and McLaren Elva in Vietnam showcased his interest, stating that everyone has their own hobbies and tastes. He accompanied the post with three photos, each featuring a different Lamborghini model as the backdrop.
While his son poses alongside the family’s most expensive Lamborghini, the Veneno, his daughter chose the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento as her backdrop, a rare racing model that only true enthusiasts would recognize.
The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is a limited-edition, high-performance vehicle that made its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The name Sesto Elemento refers to the atomic number of carbon, highlighting the extensive use of carbon fiber in its construction. This car was exclusively built for the race track and was not intended for road use, which is why information about it is scarce.
Lamborghini initially planned to produce 20 units of the Sesto Elemento, each priced at 2.92 million USD in mid-2011. At that time, it was the most expensive Lamborghini ever made until the Veneno was released. However, due to the car’s exclusivity and the fact that it couldn’t be driven on public roads, Lamborghini struggled to find 20 customers willing to purchase the Sesto Elemento.
It is believed that Lamborghini only managed to produce 10 units of the Sesto Elemento instead of the initially planned 20. This is supported by vehicle identification number (VIN) records, although the company has not publicly acknowledged this.
Singapore is known to have received the most Sesto Elementos, with four units arriving in the country in 2014, although some have since left. Interestingly, the United States did not receive any Sesto Elementos, despite Boeing’s involvement in Lamborghini’s carbon fiber development, as evidenced by the display of a Sesto Elemento at the Boeing Everett factory.
The Lamborghini Veneno, on the other hand, is a high-performance sports car produced in a limited series to commemorate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. Based on the Lamborghini Aventador, it was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a price tag of 4 million USD, making it one of the most expensive production cars in the world.
Now, Minh “Nhua” teases a third Lamborghini model that he plans to bring to Vietnam, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4. This highly collectible car is expected to be a valuable addition to his existing collection of the Pagani Huayra and McLaren Elva, with a pre-tax price of 61 billion VND, which will likely exceed 220 billion VND upon its arrival in the country.
