Vietnamese businessman Pham Tran Nhat Minh, also known as Minh “Nhua,” recently shared a post on his passion for the “f1” generation. The owner of the one-of-a-kind Pagani Huayra and McLaren Elva in Vietnam showcased his interest, stating that everyone has their own hobbies and tastes. He accompanied the post with three photos, each featuring a different Lamborghini model as its backdrop.
While his son poses alongside the family’s most expensive Lamborghini, the Veneno, his daughter chose the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento as her backdrop, a rare racing model that only true enthusiasts would recognize.
The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is a limited-edition, high-performance vehicle that made its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Its name, which translates to “sixth element,” references the atomic number of carbon, highlighting the extensive use of carbon fiber in its construction. Due to its nature as a track-only car, information about the Sesto Elemento is scarce.
Lamborghini initially planned to produce 20 units of the Sesto Elemento, each priced at $2.92 million, making it the most expensive Lamborghini at the time. However, due to its track-only nature and the high price tag, they struggled to find 20 customers willing to purchase the car.
It is believed that Lamborghini only managed to produce and sell 10 units of the Sesto Elemento, despite their initial plan for 20. While the carmaker has not publicly confirmed this, it is supported by vehicle identification number (VIN) records.
Singapore is known to have received the most Sesto Elementos, with four units arriving in the country in 2014, although some have since left. Interestingly, the United States, despite its strong car culture, did not receive any Sesto Elementos, although one was displayed at the Boeing Everett factory due to Boeing’s involvement in Lamborghini’s carbon fiber development.
The Lamborghini Veneno, on the other hand, is a high-performance sports car produced in a limited series to commemorate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. Based on the Lamborghini Aventador, it was introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a price tag of $4 million, making it one of the most expensive production cars in the world.
Now, Minh “Nhua” teases a third Lamborghini model that he plans to bring to Vietnam, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4. This upcoming addition to his collection, alongside the Pagani Huayra and McLaren Elva, is expected to be a valuable collectible, with a pre-tax price of $2.5 million, which will likely exceed $9 million upon its arrival in the country.
