On November 13, 2024, VinFast announced its decision to offer gifts to all its past and future car owners. This gesture is a token of appreciation for their customers’ support, which has helped the brand climb to the top spot in the domestic market.
Specifically, VinFast will be presenting a special Tet gift set personally selected and signed by the Chairman of Vingroup, Pham Nhat Vuong. This offer is valid for all owners of gasoline and electric vehicles purchased directly from VinFast or authorized dealers before December 31, 2024.
The gift set includes a bottle of bespoke French wine presented in a wooden box, a lucky money envelope for the new year containing a collection of Vietnamese banknotes in denominations ranging from VND 1,000 to VND 500,000 with a total value of VND 888,000, symbolizing wealth and prosperity, and a New Year greeting card from Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup and Global CEO of VinFast.
Each item in the gift set not only carries a blessing for good fortune in the new year but also conveys VinFast’s sincere gratitude to its customers for their unwavering support and faith in the brand’s journey from scratch to the number one position in the market. The special gift set is expected to be delivered to VinFast car owners in January 2025, just ahead of the Lunar New Year celebrations.
In the first ten months of 2024, VinFast emerged as the leading automotive brand in Vietnam. Specifically, their cumulative sales during this period surpassed 51,000 vehicles, outperforming foreign automobile manufacturers. Notably, VinFast also became the first electric vehicle brand to surpass its gasoline-powered competitors just two years after transitioning to an all-electric lineup.
In October 2024 alone, VinFast delivered over 11,000 electric vehicles to customers, reflecting a 21% growth compared to September 2024. With these impressive sales figures, VinFast overtook Toyota and Hyundai to become the best-selling automotive brand in Vietnam for that month.
Among the VinFast models, the VF3 and VF5 were the top-selling vehicles, with nearly 5,000 and over 2,600 units sold, respectively. Other models, including the VF6, VF7, VF8, VF9, and VF e34, also performed well in the market.
