**Rosenbauer Unveils the Panther 6×6 Electric: A Powerful Electric Fire Truck**

Rosenbauer, the third-largest fire truck manufacturer in the world, has recently unveiled its new electric vehicle, the Panther 6×6 Electric. This electric vehicle is designed to serve airports and firefighting purposes.

Specifically, the Rosenbauer Panther 6×6 Electric is developed based on the gasoline-powered Panther 6×6 version but with a modern twist, featuring numerous improvements suitable for electronic firefighting operations.

It boasts a large LED light setup to maximize support for rescue or firefighting operations in low-light conditions.

Additionally, the truck is equipped with modern firefighting tools, including a high-capacity pumping system, a foam system, and a monitor with tanks capable of holding up to 12,000 liters of water, 1,450 liters of foam, and 250 kg of powder. This ensures that the truck is fully prepared to extinguish large fires in emergency environments, such as airport runways.

Powering the Panther 6×6 Electric are four electric motors with a total output of 980 horsepower, which can be boosted to 1,200 horsepower when the acceleration mode is activated. This enables the truck to accelerate from 0 to 80 km/h in 19.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 120 km/h.

The vehicle is fitted with a 256 kWh battery pack, sufficient for continuous emergency operations from the time of arrival at the scene to the completion of the mission and the return journey. Moreover, this fire truck supports fast charging at 300 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 0 to 100% in just 45 minutes.

According to Rosenbauer, the electric fire truck can accomplish most tasks using electric power, while a diesel generator serves as a backup if longer operational durations or continuous high firefighting power are required.

The Rosenbauer Panther 6×6 Electric is expected to be widely available for purchase from late 2025, with the price not disclosed.
