The Hyundai C-segment SUV has been spotted undergoing road tests. According to earlier reports, the facelifted Hyundai Tucson will be available for purchase from early October, with deliveries commencing by the end of this year.

Real-world images indicate that the mid-life refresh will not deviate significantly from the current Tucson. All exterior modifications are concentrated at the front, featuring a larger grille, a redesigned bumper, and additional prominent cladding. The wheel arch cladding has also been redesigned to impart a more premium and contemporary appearance.

If the exterior changes are subtle, the interior of the Tucson facelift is expected to be a significant draw, bearing resemblance to the 2024 Santa Fe. A prominent curved display that integrates with the digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel takes center stage on the dashboard.

The old two-spoke steering wheel has been replaced with a three-spoke design, also inspired by the Santa Fe. In addition to the steering wheel, the rotary controller cluster near the center console is another element borrowed from the recently launched Santa Fe.

According to dealer sources, the new Tucson will continue to offer the same three engine options as the current model: a 2.0L gasoline, a 2.0L diesel, and a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine. Specific pricing and output details for each variant have not yet been disclosed.

The Tucson’s interior shares many similarities with the 2024 Santa Fe.

However, sales consultants predict that the price of the new Tucson is likely to increase compared to the current model. Specifically, the top-of-the-line variant could reach a price point of one billion VND.

The Hyundai Tucson is currently sold in Vietnam in four variants, with prices ranging from 769 million to 919 million VND. Should the price increase, the Tucson will face challenges when competing with rivals in the C-SUV segment, such as the Ford Territory (799-929 million), Mazda CX-5 (749-959 million), or Kia Sportage (779-919 million VND).
