Volkswagen is gearing up to introduce an exciting new model in Vietnam. From what has been revealed, this SUV boasts three rows of seating with a 2+2+2 configuration, featuring two captain’s chairs in the second row, and easy access to the third row.

The vehicle offers ample interior and cargo space. It also comes equipped with cutting-edge technologies from the Volkswagen Group, including the IQ.DRIVE package, IQ.LIGHT LED Matrix, and the MQB evo platform.

Under the hood, this SUV utilizes the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, along with electric power steering Servotronic, a new-generation DSG transmission, and TSI engine technology.

At the rear, the SUV sports a sleek LED light bar that stretches across the tail, along with the ‘President’ lettering and the 380 TSI and 4Motion logos, hinting at its all-wheel-drive capabilities and likely 2.0L engine.

While the exact dimensions have not been disclosed, images of the cockpit reveal an electronic gear selector, start/stop button, spacious storage compartment, electronic parking brake, and Auto Hold activation button.

A large infotainment screen takes center stage on the dashboard, accompanied by a three-spoke steering wheel. The interior is adorned with white leather upholstery, accented by brown trim.

The second row features two captain’s chairs with individual armrests and the ability to recline, providing a relaxing experience for passengers. Overall, the SUV’s cabin shares similarities with the Volkswagen Viloran, which was previously introduced to the Vietnamese market in December 2023.

This SUV also offers ample storage areas and cup holders for both the second and third rows.

Volkswagen dealers have started taking deposits of VND 100 million for this SUV, with the official pricing yet to be announced. According to the plan, this SUV, which combines the versatility of an SUV with the comfort and convenience of an MPV, will be launched in October.
