Similar to many other competitors, this November 2024, Peugeot is actively promoting discounts for its models. Notably, the Peugeot 2008 and 3008 duo are at the forefront of these promotions.
Specifically, in November 2024, Peugeot is offering discounts of up to 50 million VND for the aforementioned SUV duo. In addition, these two models are also eligible for the government’s 50% registration fee support policy for domestically produced and assembled vehicles. In other words, this November, the Peugeot 3008 and 2008 are being offered with registration fee promotions equivalent to 100% of the fee, which can be up to 100 million VND.
Other Peugeot models, including the 5008, 408, and Traveller, also have their own exclusive promotional programs. Among them, the Peugeot 5008 comes with a support package worth 27 million VND, including price discounts and a free 20,000 km maintenance program.
For the Peugeot 408 sedan, customers who participate in the test drive event will receive a voucher that can be directly deducted from the car’s price. Meanwhile, the Peugeot Traveller offers an exclusive discount of 15 million VND for customers who sign contracts and make invoices in November and December 2024.
Moreover, the Peugeot 5008, 408, and Traveller models also benefit from the government’s 50% reduction in registration fees. The value of the registration fee incentive for the Peugeot 5008 will range from 66 to 72 million VND, depending on the version. The corresponding figures for the Peugeot 408 range from 51 to 76 million VND. At the same time, customers purchasing the Peugeot Traveller can save up to 79 million VND.
Currently, Peugeot is distributing five models in the Vietnamese market, namely the 2008, 3008, 5008, 408, and Traveller. Among these, the Peugeot SUV models recorded a total sales volume of 401 units in October 2024 and 2,553 units in the first ten months of the year. Notably, the Peugeot Traveller has not generated any sales so far this year.
Peugeot is known as a mainstream brand in the European market. However, in Vietnam, Peugeot is positioned as a premium brand, ranking higher than its Korean and Japanese competitors. Consequently, Peugeot models are priced higher than their rivals in the same segment.
In return, Peugeot cars impress with their unique exterior designs and interiors that exude a sense of luxury and sportiness beyond what their competitors offer. Local assembly of Peugeot models also ensures a stable supply chain and makes them eligible for various government incentives.
