According to Motor1, citing Reuters, Ferrari’s first all-electric model will be produced at its new factory in Italy and is expected to be launched in Q4 2025. Initial information suggests that the electric supercar will carry a price tag of at least €500,000, equivalent to approximately USD 537,440.
Reuters also reports that a second all-electric Ferrari is in the early stages of development. Following the launch of the Purosangue SUV and the first electric model, Motor1 believes that rushing to introduce another electric vehicle could dilute the brand’s exclusivity. Ferrari is reportedly planning to limit its annual production to 20,000 units to maintain the brand’s value.

Last year, Ferrari delivered 13,663 vehicles globally. The customers of the Italian sports car maker are known for their patience, often waiting years to take delivery of their vehicles.
In November 2023, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna revealed that the company’s order books were at an all-time high. In fact, all the cars that Ferrari could sell until 2025 have already been pre-ordered, meaning that recent depositors will have to wait until at least 2026 to get their hands on their vehicles.
According to Motor1, Ferrari has also limited the production of the Purosangue to 20% of its annual output to prevent it from becoming an SUV-focused brand. With a price tag of USD 400,000, the Purosangue’s sales could have been even higher if Ferrari hadn’t implemented this production cap, Motor1 suggests.

With a new factory under construction, Ferrari is expected to launch even more new models in the future, including a supercar slated for release later this year.
Regarding the brand’s first EV, Ferrari’s Product Marketing Director, Emanuele Carando, has stated that the car will feature an “authentic sound” and will be a “true Ferrari.” This yet-to-be-named electric model is projected to account for about 5% of the company’s total sales in 2026. By 2030, the group’s electric vehicles are expected to make up around 40% of annual orders.
