VinEG Energy Solutions JSC (“VinFast Energy”), Schneider Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd. (“Schneider Electric”), and East Sea Energy Environment JSC (“ESEC”) have entered into a collaborative agreement to develop advanced energy storage solutions, thereby promoting energy management in Vietnam.
As per the agreement, the parties will focus on strategic cooperation in the field of green energy, including energy management and sustainable energy storage solutions. Through this collaboration, the companies aim to contribute to the net-zero emissions target and foster a sustainable future.
VinFast Energy will take on the role of providing advanced Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. The system is researched, developed, manufactured, and installed in Vietnam. VinFast Energy’s involvement not only underscores domestic production capabilities but also contributes to the sustainable development of the country’s energy industry.
Schneider Electric, on the other hand, will offer advanced microgrid control solutions along with related electrical equipment. These solutions will optimize operational processes, enhance energy efficiency, and create a smart, flexible, and optimized energy system.
Working closely with the above two units is ESEC, a company that provides in-depth consulting, design, and installation services. They will utilize microgrid control solutions and the electricity distribution system provided by Schneider Electric. This combination will offer optimized solutions for synchronized management and efficient operation of the energy system.
Ms. Pham Thuy Linh, Deputy General Director of VinFast Global, shared: “This tripartite collaboration not only contributes to building a complete green energy ecosystem but also serves as a solid stepping stone towards realizing a sustainable development vision for Vietnam and the region. VinFast Energy is committed to long-term investment in energy storage battery technology, playing a pivotal role in energy transition, and enabling the optimized, flexible, and sustainable use of renewable energy in the operations of various economic components.”
Mr. Dong Mai Lam, Country President of Schneider Electric Vietnam & Cambodia, stated: “Schneider Electric always prioritizes comprehensive digitalization solutions and practical innovations. We are committed to building a smart, flexible, and optimized energy system to meet the diverse needs of the Vietnamese market. For Schneider Electric, this is not only an opportunity to collaborate with reputable partners like VinFast Energy and ESEC but also a mission to make a difference by enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing energy utilization.”
Mr. Tran Thanh Khang, Country Manager of ESEC Vietnam, added: “ESEC believes that this strategic collaboration will open up long-term opportunities for renewable energy and smart management in Vietnam. Over the years, ESEC has witnessed a growing interest from customers in advanced solutions such as microgrid control systems, ETAP software, and centralized operation management systems. These technologies not just improve efficiency but also optimize energy sources in the context of a thriving green economy.”
This event marks a significant step forward for the energy storage battery industry in Vietnam, offering opportunities to develop sustainable and modern energy solutions. Through this partnership, the parties pledge to deliver comprehensive integrated products and services, enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the energy system. They also commit to providing holistic solutions for microgrid and BESS, propelling an impressive transformation in Vietnam’s energy sector.
