Honda Vietnam recently announced a recall to inspect and replace the high-pressure fuel pump for the 2023-2024 CR-V e:HEV RS models imported and distributed by HVN.

These vehicles will be inspected for fuel leakage and fuel pump odor when the engine is running.

Information on the vehicles included in this recall is as follows:

All owners of the affected vehicles will be notified of the details related to this recall campaign by Honda Automobile Distributors via postal mail and/or email and/or direct telephone call based on the vehicle owner’s information registered in HVN’s customer management system.

Customers who receive the notification should take their vehicles to the Honda Automobile Distributors for inspection and replacement of parts if leakage is detected.

Recall locations: All HVN automobile distributors nationwide.

Recall method: Inspect for fuel leakage and fuel pump odor when the engine is running. If leakage is detected at the high-pressure fuel pump, the part will be replaced.

Start date of inspection: 25/11/2024

Inspection time: 0.5 hours/vehicle.

Although no safety issues related to this matter have been reported in the Vietnamese market, HVN still recommends that customers promptly take their vehicles to Honda Automobile Distributors for inspection. The cost of the inspection or replacement of affected parts will be borne by HVN.
