According to a report by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), vehicle sales in the entire market in October 2024 maintained a growth momentum with 38,761 units sold, up 53% over October 2023.

Here are the 10 models with the highest sales in October 2024:

Mitsubishi Xpander: 2,131 units

Although sales decreased by 26% compared to September, Mitsubishi Xpander still firmly holds the position of “segment king” and leads the market with 2,131 units sold in October. In the first ten months, this model recorded a sales volume of 15,087 units.

Mitsubishi Xpander is distributed in Vietnam with four versions: MT, AT, AT Premium, and Xpander Cross, with prices ranging from VND 560 million to VND 698 million.

Mazda CX-5: 2,008 units

Ranking second in the top 10 best-selling cars of the month was the Mazda CX-5, with sales of 2,008 units in October, up 8.2% from the previous month. In the first ten months of the year, Mazda delivered 11,248 CX-5s to consumers.

Mazda CX-5 is currently assembled domestically with three versions, with prices ranging from VND 749 million to VND 829 million.

Ford Ranger: 1,881 units

October sales of the Ford Ranger reached 1,881 units, up 27.7% from the previous month. In the first ten months of 2024, Ford sold 13,647 Ranger units to consumers.

Currently, the Ford Ranger is distributed in Vietnam with seven versions, with prices ranging from VND 669 million to VND 1.299 billion.

Toyota Vios: 1,757 units

Sales of 1,757 units in October, down 4.6% from September, caused the Toyota Vios to drop to fourth place in the top 10 best-selling cars of the month. In the first ten months, Toyota Vios sold a total of 10,569 units, up 18.1% from the same period last year.

Currently, the Toyota Vios is sold in Vietnam with three versions, with prices ranging from VND 458 million to VND 545 million.

Honda City: 1,670 units

Ranking fifth in the top-selling cars of the month was the Honda City, with sales of 1,670 units, up 5% from September. In the first ten months, Honda sold a total of 7,741 City units to consumers.

After being absent for several months, the Honda City returned to the top 10 in September with sales of 1,590 units, 3.8 times higher than the previous month (421 units). In the first nine months, Honda sold 6,071 City units.

The Honda City is currently sold in Vietnam with three versions (G, L, and RS) with prices ranging from VND 559 million to VND 609 million.

Toyota Yaris Cross: 1,510 units

In October, the Toyota Yaris Cross recorded sales growth of up to 54.2%, with 1,510 units sold. In the first ten months of 2024, Toyota Vietnam delivered a total of 8,408 Yaris Cross units to consumers.

The Toyota Yaris Cross is distributed in Vietnam with two versions, with prices ranging from VND 650 million to VND 765 million.

Mitsubishi Xforce: 1,481 units

In October, the Mitsubishi Xforce recorded sales of 1,481 units, down 18.6% from September. Cumulative sales from the beginning of the year to now have been 11,444 Xforce units.

Currently, the car is imported from Indonesia to Vietnam with four versions: GLX, Exceed, Premium, and Ultimate, with prices ranging from VND 599 million to VND 705 million.

Hyundai Accent: 1,425 units

At the end of October 2024, Hyundai delivered a total of 1,425 Accent units to consumers, up 10.5% from the previous month. In the first ten months of 2024, Hyundai sold 9,625 Hyundai Accent units to the market.

Currently, the Hyundai Accent is sold with four versions, with prices ranging from VND 439 million to VND 569 million.

Toyota Corolla Cross: 1,420 units

Sales of 1,420 units in October, up 77.2% from September, helped the Toyota Corolla Cross maintain its ninth position in the top 10 best-selling cars of the month.

In the first ten months, the Toyota Corolla Cross recorded sales of 5,479 units, down 41% from the same period last year.

Currently, the Toyota Corolla Cross is sold in Vietnam with two versions, priced at VND 820 million and VND 905 million, respectively.

Ford Everest: 1,281 units

At the end of October 2024, the Ford Everest continued to be in the top 10 best-selling cars with sales of 1,281 units, up 35.1% from September. Cumulative sales from the beginning of the year to now have been 8,434 Everest units, up 13.5% from the same period in 2023.

Currently, the Everest is distributed in Vietnam with six versions, with prices ranging from VND 1.099 billion to VND 1.545 billion.
