The name Phạm Trần Nhật Minh, commonly known as Minh “Nhựa”, is no stranger to Vietnam’s wealthy elite and car enthusiasts alike. The businessman is often seen with his collection of million-dollar supercars, some of which are limited editions, such as the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV, and the famous trio: Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Huayra, and McLaren Elva.

Over a decade ago, it was rare to spot Minh “Nhựa”‘s supercars, luxury cars, or sports cars on the used car market. However, in recent years, the frequency of this car enthusiast selling his rides has taken many by surprise.

“Some cars were bought and then sold, but there are also some long-term residents,” Minh “Nhựa” shared about his car collection over the past decade. It’s evident that the “long-term residents” refer to the Mini Cooper, Rolls-Royce Ghost, and the Pagani Huayra, which has been rumored to be sold multiple times but remains in Minh “Nhựa”‘s possession to this day. The Pagani Huayra, in particular, was recently registered under his name earlier this year after being owned by his father for several years.

In the latest photo of his garage, Minh “Nhựa” has once again piqued the curiosity of car enthusiasts as the highly anticipated McLaren Elva is still nowhere to be seen. With only 149 units worldwide, this rare gem was revealed by the plastic industry tycoon to be worth 143 billion VND before its arrival in Vietnam, and its value has now soared to nearly 200 billion VND.

The McLaren Elva stands out not only for its absence of a roof and windows but also for its impressive performance. It is powered by the same V8, twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter engine found in other McLaren supercars such as the 720S, 720S Spider, and the hypercar Senna owned by Hoàng Kim Khánh.

This engine delivers a staggering 804 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque to the Elva, all of which is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. As a result, this “four-no” McLaren masterpiece can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds.
