The All-New Porsche Panamera: A Luxurious and Powerful Driving Experience
Porsche has unveiled its latest Panamera in Vietnam, offering a range of seven variants, including the e-hybrid option, with a starting price of VND 6.42 billion. The new model made its global debut in Shanghai late last year.
The Porsche Panamera’s dimensions remain unchanged at 5,052 x 1,937 x 1,423 mm (length x width x height), except for the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive, which has a slightly increased height of 1,428 mm and a wheelbase of 5,202 mm.
The front of the Panamera features distinctive styling with prominent character lines and LED daytime running lights in a signature four-point design.
At the rear, the new Panamera sports a sleek look with a frameless rear window and redesigned taillights.
The wheels feature a center lock design, a first for the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, and Porsche offers a range of wheel designs to choose from.
The interior of the Porsche Panamera prioritizes the driver experience, blending digital and analog technologies. Controls are strategically placed within easy reach of the driver, including the gear selector to the right of the steering wheel and the drive mode selector and support control knob.
A 10.9-inch central display provides access to vehicle data and infotainment while on the move, ensuring the driver’s safety by preventing visibility from the driver’s seat.
Under the hood, the Panamera is equipped with a standard 2.9L twin-turbocharged V6 engine, delivering 353 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, an increase of 23 horsepower and 50 Nm over its predecessor. This enables the Panamera to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, with a top speed of 272 km/h.
The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid takes it a step further with a new electric motor, producing a combined output of 470 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. With a fuel consumption of just 1-1.4 liters per 100 km (WLTP cycle), it offers a pure electric range of 96 km. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 280 km/h.
The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid takes performance even higher with a combined output of 544 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, resulting in a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.7 seconds.
For those seeking the ultimate in performance, the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid combines a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine with a hybrid system, delivering a staggering 680 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque. This powerhouse can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h.
The range-topping Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid takes performance to new heights, with a combined output of 782 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a breathtaking 2.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 325 km/h.
