As a token of appreciation for our valued customers and to offer unique experiences to consumers, Hyundai Thanh Cong plans to turn the Hyundai Experience Day into an annual brand event. On December 7-8, 2024, Hyundai Thanh Cong will, for the second time, organize this exciting event in Vietnam. The Hyundai Experience Day 2024 will take place at Saigon River Park, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
The event will feature not only the Elantra Gymkhana Championship, offering a chance to experience the Elantra N model, but also the captivating Ioniq 5 N Driftshow performance. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a thrilling “taxi-ride” alongside professional drift racers from Hyundai in South Korea.
The star of the drift show is the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Drift Edition, a specially modified version of the electric car Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.
Introduced in July 2023 as the first electric car from the high-performance Hyundai N division, the Ioniq 5 N represents a new segment of high-performance electric vehicles. This model combines the standard Ioniq 5’s global electric vehicle platform (E-GMP) with N Performance’s sports car technologies and expertise from the “Rolling Lab” to maximize the high-performance capabilities of electric cars.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is equipped with tuned electric motors and an 84 kWh battery pack. The front motor delivers 222 horsepower, while the rear motor generates 378 horsepower. Combined, the car produces 601 horsepower and can reach up to 641 horsepower in Boost mode.
Following this is the second edition of the Elantra Gymkhana Hyundai Thanh Cong Cup 2024, which is coming to Ho Chi Minh City customers for the first time. In this race, customers will navigate a specially designed track for the Elantra, testing their maneuvering skills and acceleration capabilities to complete the course as quickly as possible without hitting the markers or veering off the designated path.
Accompanying the participants will be the Elantra N-line, the sporty version of the Elantra. The top performers will then get a chance to drive the Elantra N, which boasts a 2.0 Turbo engine producing a maximum of 285 horsepower, along with a host of supplementary technologies inherited from race cars. The winner will receive a valuable gift from the organizer.
But that’s not all; Hyundai Experience Day 2024 will also feature a dedicated exhibition space for Genesis, the luxury brand launched in 2015. At the event, Hyundai Thanh Cong will showcase three Genesis models: the G90, GV80, and G80 Electrified, each powered by combustion engines, hybrid systems, and pure electric motors, respectively.
Additionally, event attendees will get to experience the latest Hyundai automotive products, including the Santa Fe, Tucson, and Accent. Notably, this year will feature an N-Brand exhibition area, showcasing Hyundai’s sports car division.
Moreover, the event will allocate space for commercial vehicles bearing the Hyundai brand, such as buses and trucks, and an authentic parts and accessories booth featuring renowned brands like 3M and Shell.
Customers can not only explore the exhibition but also test-drive the cars, experiencing special features like automatic braking and all-wheel drive on the dedicated test tracks.
Another highlight of the event is the unique hot air balloon experience at Saigon River Park. Attendees will have the chance to view Ho Chi Minh City from a hot air balloon, soaring at a height of several dozen meters. Each balloon ride will accommodate a maximum of four adults or six children. The rides will operate during the event’s daytime hours over the two days.
Lastly, a special concert will be held, featuring some of the most popular names in the industry, catering specifically to our younger GenZ customers.
