Recently, the Investigative Police Agency of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Public Security has decided to temporarily detain four individuals in connection with an incident involving a group of people in security guard uniforms regulating traffic for a wedding car convoy.
Specifically, all four individuals are employees of Security Limited Company, including: Le Kien Quyet (born in 1985) from Hau Loc town, Hau Loc district; Hoang Kim Chung (born in 1996) from Thanh Yen street, Quang Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa city; Nguyen Dinh Duong (born in 1991) from Quang Minh commune, Sam Son city; and La Van Thuy (born in 1985) from Tho Lap commune, Tho Xuan district. They are being investigated for the act of “Causing public disorder.”
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Public Security, through their information network, the police discovered a video clip circulating on social media. The clip showed a group of security guards, equipped with batons, riding motorbikes along Le Loi avenue in Thanh Hoa city, and engaging in “road clearing” activities for a wedding car convoy consisting of luxurious and expensive cars.
Recognizing the complexity of the case regarding security and order and its mixed reactions from the public, along with signs of legal violations, the authorities proceeded with verification to handle the case in accordance with the law.
In the afternoon of November 28, the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Public Security coordinated with the Mobile Police Department and Thanh Hoa City Police to examine the headquarters of Security Limited Company located on Nguyen Duy Hieu street, Dong Huong ward, Thanh Hoa city. They also summoned individuals related to the case to the police headquarters for investigation and clarification.
By the afternoon of November 29, the Investigative Police Agency of Thanh Hoa Provincial Public Security decided to temporarily detain the above four suspects for further investigation and expansion of the case.
The case is still under investigation.
