Similar to previous months, from the beginning of December 2024, Honda Vietnam continued to collaborate with its distributor network to launch promotional programs for its models. After two months of discontinued promotions, the Honda CR-V has returned with a new offer.

As a result, Vietnamese customers can now own a Honda CR-V for just over VND 900 million. Currently, there are four versions of the Honda CR-V available in Vietnam, with prices starting at VND 1.029 billion. This means that compared to the listed price, this C-segment SUV is offered with a discount of tens, even up to a hundred million dong.

Of course, the number of Honda CR-Vs offered at a discounted price will be limited. This program is applicable to customers who sign a car purchase contract and complete 100% of the payment procedures from December 16, 2024, to January 28, 2025.

December 2024 marked the end of the government’s policy of supporting 50% of the registration fee for domestically produced and assembled cars. Therefore, it is no surprise that Honda has to continue offering promotions for the CR-V on its own.

There are three domestically assembled versions of the Honda CR-V: the G, L 2WD, and L AWD, priced from VND 1.029 billion to VND 1.25 billion. The e:HEV RS version, on the other hand, is imported from Thailand and priced at VND 1.259 billion.

Even with the applied discount, the Honda CR-V remains more expensive than most of its competitors in the C-segment SUV category. However, this Honda model has stable sales thanks to its loyal customer base. In addition, the vehicle also boasts competitive advantages such as a reputable brand, modern and robust design, and a full range of convenient and safe equipment.

At the same time, the Honda CR-V is one of the few C-segment SUVs to offer a hybrid engine, along with the Haval H6. Specifically, the Honda CR-V e:HEV RS is equipped with a hybrid powertrain, including a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 146 horsepower, combined with two electric motors with a total output of 181 horsepower. Together, the system generates 204 horsepower and 335 Nm of maximum torque.

The remaining three versions of the Honda CR-V are powered by a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers 188 horsepower and 240 Nm of maximum torque, as before. The engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission and is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

In October 2024, Honda sold 859 CR-Vs in Vietnam, a 7.1% decrease. From the beginning of the year to October, the model has sold a total of 4,987 units, ranking third in the C-segment SUV market, only behind the Mazda CX-5 and Ford Territory.
