The allure of limited-edition Ferrari supercars as lucrative investments is undeniable, with fortunate members of the Italian brand’s VIP list often reaping profits ranging from a few hundred thousand to a few million dollars.
This exclusivity has sparked curiosity about the presence of limited-edition Ferraris in Vietnam, with rumors circulating about the arrival of the Ferrari LaFerrari and, more recently, the Ferrari Daytona SP3. The Ferrari Daytona SP3, a member of the Icona family, evokes a sense of nostalgia and boasts high collectability, sharing lineage with the Ferrari Monza.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is an extraordinary vehicle, and only a handful have been spotted in the ASEAN region. Thus, should a Vietnamese entrepreneur successfully bring the Ferrari Daytona SP3 to the country, it would undoubtedly create a significant sensation.
The front end of the Daytona SP3 features an impressive splitter and front bumper reminiscent of the 1967 330 P4, albeit with a lower nose and wider fenders. The LED headlights are intricately designed with a pop-up mechanism, and the cover can be opened to reveal horizontal air intakes. Similar to the LaFerrari, the SP3 boasts butterfly doors with impressive air intakes, and the windshield has an arched design.
The rear of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a sight to behold, featuring a horizontal LED light strip that doubles as taillights, a deployable rear spoiler that adjusts with speed, and a carbon fiber diffuser. The trapezoidal twin exhaust pipes are positioned high, promising an aggressive sound from the V12 engine. Complementing the package are bespoke five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, specifically developed for the Daytona SP3.
Under the hood, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is equipped with a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces a staggering 829 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox with a limited-slip differential, propelling the hypercar from 0 to 100 km/h in a breathtaking 2.85 seconds.
