VinFast’s Stunning Lineup of Electric Vehicles, Headlined by the VF 7, Captivates Young Audience at Zalopay Year End Fes 2024
From November 28 to December 1, the inaugural Zalopay Year End Fes 24, a unique combination of a digital payment event and a shopping music festival, took place at Nguyen Hue Walking Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The VinFast booth was a focal point, boasting a large space, impressive design, and the presence of the VF 3 and VF 7 duo.
VinFast’s booth attracted crowds of people seeking information about their electric vehicle lineup. Among them, the VF 7, positioned at the center of the booth, garnered special attention from prospective customers.
Phan Thi Van Tam, a Ho Chi Minh City resident who attended Zalopay YEF 24, shared her experience: “I currently own a C-segment sedan with a gasoline engine, but when I tried the VF 7, I was quite surprised. Both the exterior and interior designs are impressive and cater to young, dynamic individuals who value aesthetics.”
Tam particularly liked the 12.9-inch central screen on the VF 7, as it allowed her to adjust most of the vehicle’s features, such as air conditioning, mirror adjustment, and headlights. She found the VF 7’s screen easy to operate, resembling a tablet integrated into the cabin. Tam asserted that the VF 7 would be her first choice when considering a switch to an electric vehicle.
Another attendee, Nguyen Thien Bao, also from Ho Chi Minh City, is in the market for his first car. He has his sights set on the VinFast VF 7. “The first thing that impressed me about this car is its sporty and futuristic design. The small steering wheel feels great in hand,” he said.
Bao also expressed his admiration for the VF 7’s performance and acceleration, capable of reaching 0-100km/h in just 5.8 seconds. “As a young person, I appreciate the thrilling driving experience offered by the VinFast VF 7,” he shared.
One of the reasons for Bao’s interest in the VF 7 is the attractive incentives offered by VinFast during December 2024. These include a 6% registration fee discount, free charging (until July 2025), free parking within the Vingroup ecosystem (until July 2026), and a Vinmec health package worth VND 30 million. All these incentives can be converted into cash benefits, amounting to VND 136-162 million.
Additionally, for customers switching from any gasoline car brand to the VF 7 electric vehicle, VinFast offers an additional gift of up to VND 15 million (for the battery leasing version) and VND 50 million (for the battery-included version). If the trade-in car is a VinFast gasoline model, the gift value increases to VND 30-80 million, resulting in total benefits of up to VND 166-242 million, equivalent to 20% of the selling price. This means that customers can own a VF 7 for as little as VND 683-956 million.
Thanks to these incentives, the VF 7 is being hailed as the most “profitable” model in the C-SUV segment. Even with the cost of registration, the on-road price remains below VND 1 billion due to the exemption from the registration fee. In contrast, other vehicles in the same price range will incur an additional expense equivalent to 10-12% of the selling price, following the expiration of the 50% registration fee exemption for domestically assembled internal combustion engine vehicles as of December 1.
At the event, the mini-SUV VF 3 also garnered attention from young individuals due to its compact, eye-catching design, making it ideal for urban areas like Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to the displayed VF 3 and VF 7, VinFast’s other electric vehicles also attracted the interest of many customers.
Tran Van Ninh, a Ho Chi Minh City resident, was drawn to the VinFast booth due to his positive experience with the VF 5 Plus and VF 8 through the SM Green Taxi service. He praised the vehicles’ comfortable and quiet ride, spacious interior, and impressive performance. According to his research, the VF 5 Plus is currently offered with incentives of up to VND 267 million, along with gifts worth up to VND 120 million from VinFast when switching from a gasoline car.
