The 2025 Mazda CX-8 Arrives in Vietnam with Refined Exterior Design and Enhanced Safety Features

The updated Mazda CX-8 has been officially introduced in Vietnam. The SUV is offered in three trim levels: Luxury priced at 969 million VND, Premium at 1.049 billion VND, and the new Signature AWD at 1.149 billion VND.

Compared to the previous model, the 2025 CX-8 adds the Signature AWD version while discontinuing the Premium AWD 6-seater and Premium AWD trims. The prices have also been adjusted slightly upwards, with the Luxury trim increased by 20 million VND, Premium by 25 million VND, and the Signature AWD now 30 million VND higher than the previous Premium AWD.

The 2025 Mazda CX-8 features refined exterior design elements, including a new front lighting system and updated LED daytime running lights. The grille has been tweaked to be more angular, while the 19-inch alloy wheels remain unchanged.

Inside, Mazda has discontinued the 6-seater option for the new CX-8. The equipment and features remain largely the same. Some of the interior conveniences include a wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto-compatible infotainment system, tri-zone automatic climate control, a 10-speaker Bose sound system, Nappa leather upholstery, and a head-up display (HUD).

The Japanese CUV has been enhanced with additional safety features such as a tire pressure monitoring system and Cruising & Traffic Support for highway and congested road driving.

Under the hood, the Mazda CX-8 2025 continues to be powered by the 2.5L SkyActiv-G engine, delivering 188 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 252 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the trim level. The SUV also comes with a sport mode, i-Stop idle-stop technology, and G-Vectoring Control Plus for improved driving dynamics.
