Hyundai has revealed the first official images of the new Palisade, and as predicted, the brand’s flagship CUV has undergone a complete design overhaul, adopting a boxy style similar to its younger sibling, the 2024 Santa Fe.

The second-generation Hyundai Palisade boasts a bolder design, featuring sharp, angular lines. The front of the vehicle is characterized by stacked vertical LED daytime running lights and a rectangular grille. At the rear, the vertical taillights complement the front headlights, emphasizing the strong, boxy style of this CUV.

Hyundai’s designers have aimed for a more premium feel by incorporating aluminum accents around the body and roof rails. The vehicle sits on 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

While the exact length of the Palisade has not yet been disclosed, it is expected to measure over 5 meters, similar to Hyundai’s all-electric Ioniq 9. The bonnet has been shortened, resulting in a longer wheelbase compared to its predecessor.

The new Palisade also features a significantly updated cabin compared to the previous generation. A standout feature is the curved display that integrates a digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen.

The central control cluster includes a USB port, wireless phone charging pad, two cup holders, and a hidden storage tray. The gear selector has been integrated into the steering wheel, freeing up space in the center console armrest.

Staying true to Hyundai’s commitment, the cabin retains a significant number of physical knobs and buttons below the central display, on the steering wheel, and on the doors. According to the brand, the Palisade will also offer a nine-seat configuration, with an additional seat in the front middle.

Although Hyundai has not released details about the Palisade’s powertrain options, according to Carscoops, the vehicle is expected to feature a hybrid version with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, along with a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine for higher-end models.

The new Palisade is anticipated to launch in 2026 in South Korea, followed by its introduction in other markets, including North America. Currently, the Palisade is available in Vietnam through official channels, offering four variants with prices ranging from 1.47 billion to 1.58 billion VND.
